Stilton

Little Stilton was purchased at the local pet store at five weeks of age. He was returned 2 months later with a severe infestation of mites and head tilt. He was cover in scratches and scabs as well. His owner returned him because he was not getting along with her other rats.

Jess, the small mammal supervisor, contacted me knowing I would give him a safe home. He was isolated and treated for the mites. Stilton will be visiting the vet tomorrow to see about his head tilt.

He is a little timid of being picked up but enjoys his supervised free range time on the bed. He is a happy go lucky little fellow and too cute for words.

Bruise

Last week I got hit in the leg by Xia at the dog park. As a result, I had some very painful sub-dermal bruising on the side of my calf. I've been hobbling around for about a week now and this morning I noticed the bruise finally came to the surface. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's about the size of a softball and is every color in the rainbow.
