Monterey passed away quietly August 4th

after a 4 month struggle with a tumor in his front leg.

He was the King Rat of our mischief

& will be greatly missed.

Puzzle Update

Puzzle has stabilized with his headtilt. He will continue to has problems with his balance but he seems comfortable enough to return to the big boy enlcosure.

He has to have independent free range time because, for some reason, the boys seem to pick on him. Puzzle ventures under the bed but typically very close to the cage. He prefers the comfort of the enclosure walls for balance and guidance.
